FUE Hair Transplant
FUE (Folicular Unite Extraction) is a widely preferred method in hair transplantation applications. In this technique, hair follicles taken from the nape of the neck are transferred to balding or sparse hair areas. The FUE technique is considered to be the most ideal method developed so far among many different methods used in the field of hair transplantation.
The advantages of FUE include the fact that the hair follicles are close to each other or of the same quality, leave no scars and offer a natural result. In addition, the hair obtained with this method, including the roots, grows like natural hair and does not fall out. In other words, the hair transplanted with FUE is considered as one’s own hair.
The most prominent feature of this technique is that the hair follicles are removed one by one. This means that there is no scar or abnormality in the place of the hair follicles taken after the operation. In addition, the hair follicles taken with the FUE method are placed in balding areas through very small holes or incisions, which accelerates the healing process and reduces the risk of complications.
One of the biggest disadvantages of the FUE method is that the technique may take a long time and the patient’s mobility may be restricted in this process. However, these factors are usually negligible considering the aesthetic and functional advantages.
For the successful application of FUE, a suitable patient selection and an experienced team are required. It may not be a suitable method for every patient, so it is recommended to consult a hair transplant specialist and make a comprehensive evaluation.
