Botox
Botox is a form of a protein called botulinum toxin produced from Clostridium botulinum bacteria and is used to temporarily block muscle contractions. It has a wide range of uses in aesthetic and medical fields. Aesthetically, it is often used to reduce fine wrinkles and lines on the face. Fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, forehead and between the eyebrows can be significantly reduced with Botox injections.
The medical uses of Botox are also quite diverse. For example, it can be used in the treatment of excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis), in the relief of migraine pain and even in the treatment of certain muscle spasms. Botox applications can also be effective in problems related to teeth and jaw, such as tooth clenching problem (bruxism). In this way, Botox can be preferred not only for aesthetic concerns, but also for functional and medical treatments that improve quality of life.
